Shocker (Not): Gustavsson Chooses The Leafs
Cherry Picking Mother Fucker has finally made up his mind, picking the team we all knew he'd pick a month ago.
Good riddance.

hey hey no need to be bitter. You guys have Budaj and Anderson…oh…Okay never mind you have reason to hate us.

and yet he still chose the Leafs because their goaltending situation was worse. scary.

I know but at least we can both look forward to the fact that neither of our teams have Raycroft.

I’m still holding out hope that lake erie is stuck with him.

Not even group therapy can help us all deal with Tucker’s contract baggage.

I don’t think the $$ counts against the cap as long he goes through waivers on the way down. I think that’s what the rangers did with kasparitis and his monster contract that no one wanted.

Budaj’s career NHL save %: .902
Anderson’s save %: .911
Gustovsson’s NHL save %: N/A.
I’m not jumping off of any cliffs just yet.

Oh I know I’m going to be disappointed (see the flowchart over at pensionplanpuppets) but for now I can at least pretend he’s the Second Coming.

People taking their time to make a decision does not work in Colorado’s favor this offseason. See Granato firing, Roy courting, Gustavsson decision, Probable Sakic decision.
We rushed to sign Anderson, and you see where it got us? Affordable FA signing!

I think Dallas was the best fit of the four teams. Give Burke credit, he’s a great salesman. He lured in Hanson, Bozak and now Gustavsson. Whether it works or not remains to been seen.

If I had a straightup choice, I would choose Anderson over the Gustovsson anyway. Experience in the NHL counts for a lot. It would be nice to have them both though.
I wonder what Burke’s sales pitch is? He probably has him believing that Toronto stays a nice 70 degrees all year long.
I think he would have used celcius.

That he’ll stand by you like a stubborn douche if you end someone’s career with one of the cheapest attacks in NHL history?
