Get Your (Incorrect) Matt Duchene Gear!

Let's see how long this link will remain active. I'm guessing not long. Kids, if you act now, you can get your ugly Avalanche MATT DUCHENE unipron from the NHL Store. You think Matt's decided to honor David Aebischer instead of Rocket Richard?

For what it's worth, Duchene and John Tavares seem to be the only draftees to have their jereseys up and Tavares' is correct (albeit equally as ugly).

Duchene Battalion sweaters

To my knowledge the only Duchene jersey’s they sell are game-worn jerseys on the Battalion website via auction (the last auction for Duchene jersey’s ended at the end of June) – generally these auctions go pretty high though.

The 3rd Jersey

Is about the only thing I will wear. Those regular ones clash with even the simplest pair of jeans. It’s time for the Colorado flag colors.

A) the third jersey should be the old rocky jersey
b) Is Duchene going to wear 9?

A) I could live with that
B) I don’t think he’s said, but it’s available

Avs numbers

isn’t there a site that has every Av and what number they wore?. I’m having trouble finding it.

No accounting for taste

my preference goes 1) Avs third, 2) old rockies jersey, 3) a whole lotta meh.

my adult league

jerseys are the older home avalanche jerseys before they went to reeboks, and personally id rather have the reebok version, and i agree with the old 3rds with colorado on it, but kinda hard to have a team in KC with colorado on it

If I played in an adult league… I would change my name to Scori McGhee and wear the number 42. Because 42 is a funny number.

Hmm

My favs:

1) Old 3rds
2) Nordiques Blues (gotta admit, those were pretty awesome)
3) Original Avs Whites
4) Rockies Blues (would be higher if the breezers weren’t so hideous)
5) Original Avs Burgundy
6) Nords Whites
7) Rockies Whites
Avagadro’s #) Unipron.

just a simple point here. the rockies became the Jersey devils so the rights to this jersey belong to them. Not that they want them anyway

The avs should trade them the equally useless for us Quebec logo for it.

You know he could go with 6…but that would be craig wolanin’s old #, so that’s bound to be retired. He could go with 19…can’t do that. maybe 29? No that’s Eric Messier’s. I could keep this up all day. So let’s just make him 64.

I wish that the NHL would release what number high draft picks were going to wear. It’d be nice to know for sure what Duchene or Kadri would wear with the big club so that nerds like me could buy their jersey.

ps. I stood next to Duchene at Schwartz’s in Montreal. Didn’t talk to him, he seemed busy, but he seemed like a good kid. Congrats on the pick.

Brad Larson is now a big 17…Paul Kariya’s half second stay he was number 9. Do you think I can get a store to change the nameplate on my number 9…even though it’s the old style jersey?

Wore #9 for the longest time. Matt had better knock out a few teeth and grow a mop-top to continue the Ricci look.

Duchene's number

Matt’s been wearing the number 9 paying tribute to hockey legend Maurice Richard… I’d be surprised if he changed his number now.

I saw someone saying they’d love to buy a Brampton Batallion jersey… Here’s the link to both the home and away jersey’s from the OHL’s online store…
