And my heart is broken.

Also, I blame Steve Yzerman for giving me hope to the contrary. Stupid Red Wings.

Good for them
The only move that makes sense, imo. Maybe, for the first time ever, I don’t include a ticket in my season ticket draft (if we keep our tickets, my group hasn’t chimed in yet).

supposedly, the Avs’ site will be streaming the press conference (1 MT 3 ET). I plan to have a live thread if they do.

We’ll need to embed the video here once it’s over, or link directly to the stream if that’s possible.
Go Avs! Let's get some goals!

TSN says:
After 20 seasons, Joe Sakic will announce his retirement. Watch the news conference live at 3pm et/Noon pt on TSN.ca, courtesy of Altitude.
I’m assuming that means Altitude will broadcast it.
I don't believe in Peter Budaj.

Anyone else notice that Sakic is no longer the background image on the new site? Looks like it’s rotating between Stastny, Hejduk, Liles, and McLeod.

so won’t get to watch it live. I’ll tear up later on the replay. These are acceptable man tears. No beer cans will fall from the sky.

Colorado Avalanche: Please excuse the mess while we are under construction.
Someone called me a “hater” today because I am probably going to be more broken up about this than I ever could be for Michael Jackson. Oops…
Uncool.
Michael Jackson was the best beer critic of his generation! He really helped the case of craft beer across the world!
He left a hole when he left us last year.
