Avalanche Blogger Roundtable, Day 10 Part 1

It's finally here! The last day of the 2009-2010 version of the Colorado Avalanche Blogger Roundtable! We've had a ton of questions and a ton of contributors this year and except for a few timing hiccups, I think it's gone pretty well. But enough of that self-congratulatory crap; ON TO THE FINAL QUESTIONS!!
MHH gets the dubious honor of book-ending this whole smorgasbord o' fun with both of today's Roundtable questions. First up:
Final chance to look like an idiot: What is one long-shot expectation for the season?
thedoctor- Brett Clark will play well and score 30-40 points. It's a contract year, and the new coaching staff won't encourage the bad habits he's fallen into.
Aaron Musick - I have three:
1) T.J. Galiardi will get at least 60 points this year.
2) Tyler Weiman will be given a shot at the NHL level at some point this year
3) Paul Stastny will get into his first career fight.
Matt Jordan - Everything gels together and the Avs get a 7 seed.
GEO - Will I be watching hockey in May? Yes.
Will I be golfing in May? Yes.
Will the Avalanche be watching hockey and golfing in May? Absolutely yes.
Shane - Last season, I figured David Jones had a shot at 30 goals. He missed it by a country-mile (which is 2.25x longer than a city-mile) but I'm not going to fall into the trap of redefining success just so I can achieve it. So once again, I'm predicting that ol' Davy Jones will hit 30 goals this season.
DDC - Peter Budaj will be the #1 goalie by the end of the year.
So there you have it, some fearless predictions for some of this year's contributors. Add your own in the comments below. Seriously, comment away. I need fodder for a midseason post where I make fun of everybody because of their predicitons!

It’s hard to argue with you DD. However, how can you judge any team with goaltending save % below .900? I’m not sure we know what we have yet. What happens to this team if we get great goaltending? Will they end up like Columbus?

did you just jibble it by replying to the wrong article?

Galiardi - at least 60 points?
Wow, that’s bold. I hope your right though. Is he still eligible for the Calder? I do think he’ll have a good year but I’m guessing it would be around 30-40 points.

Do you know how many games Galiardi played last year? Is that the figure that determines whether or not he’s eligible for the Calder?
My prediction
At some point this season the pundits will be saying, “They’re too young to know they shouldn’t be this good!”
(and yes, I just blatantly stole this from someone)
Where will you be on October 1st, 2009 at 6:45 PM Mountain Time?

Perhaps wishful thinking but...
I predict Tucker will watch more than a few games from the press box.
