Not surprised. I’d be more worried if Liles hadn’t come alive on the PP in the last two games setting up goals. Of course, Sacco gets the blame on last night’s 4 on 3, he put the Duke on point with Liles instead of Holøs and we didn’t score. Sacco needs to be more attentive to karma and chemistry.
Last year, I had so much faith in Sacco as a coach and believed in the choices he made. The Liles situation was one of the only things that really made me question him. This year, I find myself shaking my head in bewilderment far too often.
Bitch, give me your lunch money.

Number a mouth-guards already chewed through…
Clark + Kane = 43
Rest of league = 0
I thought it was pretty Osgood to take a Bertuzzi behind the Draper, but it ended up blowing the Abdelkader of my Kronwall.

Meh
JML would have had a PPG a few games ago had Stewie not tipped it right before it going in.
Imagine the horrors of the Avs Powerkill with the Mouthpiece on the point – 67 SHG in the first 7 games!
2010-2011 Colorado Avalanche: pretty good at hockey since they can't get into the bars yet.
Clark was awful in all aspects of the game other than chewing mouthguards and looking like Bitter Beer Face guy, but he wasn’t as much of a defensive liability on the PP as Clark 2.0: The Worsening (or Kyle Quincey, as you may know him).
Imagine a PP pairing of Quincey and Clark. Yikes.
+1
For calling Quincey “The Worsening.” I like it.

I just want to say that I am loving the rebirth of Johnny Hot Pocket. He embraced the kind of player he is and it’s paying off. Obviously he won’t keep up the Mike Green point-per-game pace, but he’ll hit 50 points this year if he stays healthy and out of the dog house.
Oh, and Brett Clark may as well be a red wing.
The Avs’ D would have more PP goals if they would demote Quincey and promote Cohen. Cohen is better at every aspect of the game than Quincey is, so I don’t see the reasoning behind putting him in the A and Quincey in the N.
Imagine the sweet music coming from the press box once we have Quincey Jones in there.

Being local to Tampa now I see local coverage of the Lightning games. Clark is manning the point on a first power play unit which also features: Stamkos, St. Louis, Lecavalier, Malone…Simon Gagne is on the second power play unit except in cases where one of the afore mentioned forwards is injuried, as was the case on Monday against the Stars when Lecavalier did not dress.
