A quick video I took just before taking on The Avs Guild at Pepsi Center last night. I'm sad to report that both Andy and I gave up 4 goals in a losing effort last night. Final score MHH 3 - The Avs Guild 4. It was a great time and I can't wait to do it again next year as it looks like this is going to become an annual event. Pictures to follow soon. Wrote a post to thank everyone. What a game! Loved having a chance to coach the MHH crew – what a group of teammates. Very awesome sportsmanship. Straight from the Avalanche (Jake) – they want us doing this again next year. It’s on for sure. Thanks again and enjoy the few photos I snapped. We had Alex Cooper (A_Coop on Twitter) there taking photos so she will have a gallery up shortly and I’ll tweet it out.

And we will try to make it happen on a Friday or Saturday as well. The fact we were able to pull this thing off in basically three weeks is a testament to the troops’ support!! Thanks for agreeing to host this game. Next year we definitely need a trophy, a name for the game and jerseys.

Beachie was a monster in D. She was out there roughing up guys twice her size! I was glad she was on our side. She really helped keep us in the game. Great job Beachie!

Mile High Hockey: Significantly better than the experts predicted, just like the Avalanche.
That was awesome! The Pepsi Center crew was super nice, the Avs Guild crew were a blast and the MHH crew was superb and hard working! My family came out and said they had a great time watching the game. I cannot wait for the next game!!! I should be able to sell more tickets next time too. My family said if there’s a next time they wanted to bring more people since it was so much fun. My friends also expressed interest in buying tickets for our next game as well!!
