Apparently it’s part of something called Pravdaization, but I, for one am a little befuddled as to what part of speech Pravdaize would be. Perhaps a proper verb?
The Avs’ No. 1 power play during practice today had defenseman John Michael-Liles at the right point, forwards Chris Stewart and Milan Hejduk rotating at the left point and left half-wall, and forwards Matt Duchene and Paul Stastny down low.

You know I actually wondered when Stewie would be considered for that pint spot. Stewie has a rarely used but massive slapper. Downside: I expect the usual forward at the point issues
Why not try Stewart out there? Anyone remember when they had Claude Lemieux on the point with Sandis Ozolinsh, Deadmarsh in front of the net and Sakic and Forsberg setting things up?

I watched the 1996 cup winner the other day. On one of the power plays, Crawford had Sakic on one point and Forsberg on the other. That’s when you know you have a dominant offensive team: When you just throw Foppa on to the point.
I have this game on my iTunes and the 2001 one too. I was watching it during my break yesterday. GOOD times!

Yip ran the PP point at BU for 4 years, is a right shot and it’s pretty big. I think they’d do better to keep Stewie up front and put Yip on the point.

There's a place out west where the Powder River rolls off the Bighorn Mountains. It's a land of red walls, blue sky, and clean air, where the eagle glides high above the canyons and makes its nest in the rocks that overlook the valleys where the sagebrush and cottonwoods grow. This is ranch country - has been for more than a hundred years.
Well things have changed some since the early days, but there's still a thread of character and tradition that runs true from one generation to the next. You can see it in the way folks out here set a horse; you can hear it in the way they talk. And when the work's all done, there's nothing they like better than to get together at the one room schoolhouse under the red wall for another down home, homegrown, Western Saturday night.
About opening night
Holøs has stated he is most likely to sit out for opening night. He was told to “prepar to play, but don’t expect it”….Guess Wilson is up then

The Avs are under the cap floor, and others laugh at them, but when the Tornado comes, they'll be the only safe ones.
