If the Avs were really looking for some more toughness… Now is the time to go get it. At least Stewart will have time to rest his body as he’s been banged up and will come back closer to 100%.

Oh and...

Talbot will not bring much to the team… That is if he ever gets called up. Olver should be the next call up unless they want the energy a player like Mercier brings

When Dater was saying Avs were looking toward a trade the other night he said they wanted a gritty vet which is complete opposite of Olver…if it was Mauldin or Dupuis who went down maybe Olver would be automatic but this is different

Call Bill Guerin, at least look into it. Call up Stoa who’s played well of late and play 7 d-men with Holøs. If Stoa doesnt stick within 4 games swap him for Olver, but i think he deserves one more shot with the big club

I had a baaaaaad feeling about that fight. When I saw he wasn’t in the penalty box to start the third I knew he broke his hand. That kid is tough as balls, so you know it had to be something bad to keep him out. Same situation as Galiardi, when he left and didn’t return I knew he broke something because I’ve seen him get hit worse and pick himself back up.

Yeah this upset me greatly. Then I found out that EA dropped the Create A Player limit from 190 to 60. This really puts a damper on the updated rosters PetrPuck was doing. EA prefers to cripple roster sharing rather than do a quality roster apparently. Guess I won’t be playing NHL 11 for at least another month. Never buying a hockey game on release date again.

I figure the Avs’ will do nothing; it’s another chance for them to observe the talent in the organization. If they can just stay in the play-off race, then in 2011 they get back Stewart, Galiardi, and maybe Mueller? That may a reason to wait and see what happens.

I see management doing little because a rental will not put this team into the elite confines of the West, therefore they consider it a rebuilding year with better results. If we see a trade it will be one of the glut of defensemen for picks and minor league fodder or a pick and a tweaner who can skate top 6 minutes but will start next season in LE.

If we don't get our sauce, we ain't watching the game!
