Kim Johnsson and 2009 1st-round pick Nick Leddy go to Chicago. Barker's salary is pretty high, but I don't really think he's worth what the Wild gave up for him. Maybe he'll be a great pickup for them. I kinda see him as JML Lite, albeit 5 years younger. Maybe someone here disagrees with me, but I don't really think this trade makes a whole lot of sense for Minnesota. Chicago gets some salary relief. Johnnson's contract is expiring, and Barker has another 2 years.
