funny tiramasu story...
when i lived in CO i worked PT at an italian restaurant for extra cash. small family owned place. the owners were from italy and the husband was the chef. he made everything himself. his tiramasu was the bomb and totally traditional…hence he used dark rum and coffee liqueur in it. one night he was totally tanked on wine when he made it and it was LOADED with alcohol. a family ordered it all around for their kids and i had to lean down to the mom and suggest she not give the kids any cuz of the high alcohol content. the look on her face! too funny. she laughed tho, thanked me, ordered ice cream instead and gave me a big tip.
