Love this kid. Never took Tucker for a prankster. That seems odd. Keep up the good work Yipper.

I’ve read that Hejduk is a bit of a jokster/prankster too and one of the funniest guys in the locker room. Who knew?

I kinda knew Tucker would be a joker

He was a big one during his time on the Leafs.

proud moment…

I’m on the MMH front page. I know, I know it’s a re-post but still…

I’m approaching Beachie status.

minus the Hot Pocket crush, of course

and the awe inspiring youtube skillz.

I’m not sure you want my status. My reputation is that of tabloid material afterall. ; -)

A lot of NHL coaches weren’t necessarily star players (and actually there was this one star player who did become an NHL coach and, well, we saw how that worked out for him). Understanding and having a head for the game can be separate from having an amazing skill level. Maybe that is where Tucker is on this.

I think Lappy will/would make a great coach.

Asst coach, yes. Head coach? Not so much. They can’t be too nice, too much of players’ friends.

I only bash his ice-skill

I know the vet leadership he has in invaluable to the team. Especially if they are in the playoffs this year.

OK,

so let him stay on the bench and be an assistant or something. Eating cap space and ice time so that the kids can feel good is just a bit too much.

Yeah, someone needs to educate Yip that there is nothing to like about the Red Wings when you’re with the Avs.

I should never be taken seriously.... Seriously!

Yip was on 104.3 as I got off work today. I only caught the end of the interview, but it ended with D-Mac apologizing for the lack of fan support.

Also, my English comprehension failed me at the bottom of that interview with Puck Daddy. Something about a favorite jersey that turned into gibberish and squiggles.

It wasn’t English. I believe it to have been written in an evil, long-lost demonic tongue.

D-Mac apologizing for the lack of fan support?!?!?!

D-mac should be apologizing for never talking about fucking hockey or the fact that most of the local media, outside of Dater, has given the Avs a grand total of 10 seconds worth of coverage this year. I listen to 104.3 frequently and not heard one damn thing, seriously not one damn thing, about the Avs this year. Then suddenly he interviews an Avs player and calls out the fans? What an ass clown.
