I laugh my fucking ass off whenever I read about some Russian “star” threatening to play in the “KHL” because a) they don’t like their contract, b) aren’t allowed to play in the 2014 Olympics, or c) miss their mom’s borscht/Ken Hitchcock’s a meanie.
Really? OK, then get the fuck out of here and go play in that 2nd-rate league in that 3rd-world country. Enjoy the empty arenas, the brutal travel, the circus-like atmosphere, and, most of all, watch in amazement as your skill vanish before your eyes, the result of constantly facing over-the-hill and overpaid “competition” (and by “competition” I mean “Tayler Arnason”).
Old Russian “stars” go there to get paid, plain and simple, while NHL washouts and AHL all-stars go there for the same, plus maybe the chance to bag new and exotic puck bunnies. “KHL, the hockey version of MLS.”

considering we are all a bunch of smart asses i’m surprised it took this long to say, “I bet he wished he’d made a couple more saves that game.” and we wouldn’t be seeing this. (I haven’t looked at the video, so if it’s truely horrible then I appologize to everyone).
Steve Moore’s last act as a hockey player was beating Matt Cooke’s ass, which makes him a great great person.
