I think we’ll have a true sample of both players about 40 games into next year, the avalanche would appear to be ‘winning’ this trade—especially if wolski gets 3.75m or more next year.

I know it wasn’t an issue this year, but I can’t imagine I would have played to my potential if that sand-filled vag Gretzky was my coach. I have absolutely zero respect for that little… nevermind, neither the time, nor the place. I would so love to see him removed from the HOF a la Pete Rose though, damn that would be sweet. ouch, I have to pinch myself when I get started on Gretzky or I’ll never stop.

I’ve always had issues with hockey players who take exception to being hit. I once watched a Rangers/Sabres game in which Jay McKee gave Gretzky a routine check, slightly more than a little bump, and Gretz got in his face and yellled at him. I’m guessing it went something like: “you can’t hit me, I’m Wayne effin’ Gretzky.” The only time I ever saw any balls on that man was when he coached team Canada in the SLC olympics.
