I Miss that man…

Sandie

"We called him Clark Kent because away from the rink, he was just a nerd. Then he'd go into the Colorado dressing room and put on his Avs jersey, and all of a sudden he was Super Joe"- Theo Fleury

Good stuff Mike, thanks for the link.

Yip and Jones

Seem to fit the Deader mold. Man I miss those two guys. Paper this morning said Jones may begin skating today but is still iffy for a return during the playoffs. No update on Yip.

Jibbles is an older man so you can trust what he says.

Drunk again, Bob?

Yip and Jones aren’t a thing like Deader, besides the fact that they’re forwards. Neither of them has done anything like stepped up and taken on Brendan Shanahan in his prime, and neither is capable of doing that.

You missed the obvious comparison – the Avs’ forward most like Deader is Chris Stewart. Stewie fights angry, and Deader used to be the same way.

Put down the crack pipe Dan.

Yip is definitely cut from Deader’s cloth. He may not have fought yet, but he plays mean just like Deader used to do.

Drop the heroin needle, Hopf.

I have nothing to add, I just wanted to keep the anti-drug messages coming.

Hurry up and pass the bong, dude.

Oh, wait. Wrong thread.

Both big, fast, power forwards with offensive upside

And I think Yip is capable of playing with more of an edge, like Deader. Actually, aren’t both of them actually bigger than Deader? He played bigger than he was.

Awwww

I love watching you two lovebirds argue over the intrawebs. It’s soooooo cute.

The Avalanche, clearly, are down with No PP.

Like Lemieux and McCarty

Dan is McCarty. Being a Red Wing fan and all.

Just you wait

When chorse6shooters (or whatever that guy’s name is) shows up, you’ll kill him in an amusing manner. You always do.

Same with me and Bob. I’m out here to call shenanigans on his terrible puns and startlingly dumb statements. You can do stuff like that when you’ve known someone for (fuck me) 30 years.

Was that sex request supposed to be a subliminal message or was it a Freudian slip?

For all the lack of ‘veteran’ players on the Avs roster, it certainly must help to have guys like Deadmarsh and Konowalchuk there – guys still young enough to play if not for health issues – to be ‘veterans’.
Great video.
