Based on the current play of teams around the league, it looks like Colorado will place around the 19th spot in the draft. Normally taking the best player available would be the way to go but there is the chance that all the studs will be gone before the Avs draft. Who do you think the Avs will target? Will they possible trade away their 1st rounder to get more picks a few spots later in the draft (similar to when they picked up Stastny and Stoa)? Interesting to see who you think they should focus on drafting. I'm in the thought that if one of the big time goalies or all of the stud forwards are gone, that I would trade the pick for a later 1st (or early second) and a second rounder and use one pick on a solid player and another on a high risk/ high reward type player. So who would you target?
