I’ll admit when we play like crap, and there has been some terrible defensive plays but the reffing has been awful. There have been so many holding calls that have been let go (like Duchene’s “hooking”) I can’t even believe it.

They dont know why either. I think a lot of it comes down to experience.

in the second period, Andy started making bad decisions coming out of the net to stop the puck, getting caught back there. it made the guys scramble in front of the net, trying to cover for him. they lost their focus and lost the groove. when they lose that their inexperience makes it hard for them to get it back.

Luongo got incredibly lucky on the Mueller play that the puck didn’t go in.
I am so fucking mad right now and I don’t even know why. Why do the Canucks always seem to get the bounces? Why do the refs call NOTHING for the first fifty minutes and then call a trip on a Kesler dive (which of course the Canucks score on) and then negate an Avs’ powerplay on a horrifically bad hooking call on Dutchy?
