Lake Erie was eliminated from playoff contention tonight with a 4-2 loss to Peoria. The Monsters will wrap up the regular season with three games next week. Shattenkirk and Cohen are expected to play in the three games next week, which I'm sure will feel more like exhibition games. It's a shame. I think if Lake Erie had these guys a week ago, it could have made a difference.
