I don’t know that we could get a better replacement for Mueller then Yip. Yip fights for the puck just as much and just as hard as Wonderboy. He seems to have a “sense” of where he needs to be. Two youths and his royal Highness The Duke on a line? Very nice.

I can’t fault Anderson for leaving the net to play that puck, but he needs to stay in the crease if there are players literally standing right behind him. Then again the bounce was find of fluky too so dunno how much of the blame can be placed on him. Kind of a momentum killer there.

I’m in the 25 th row and players can easily hear me on the ice. So effing quiet in here. Also, ginger twin #2s goal reallly looked like interference from here. During commercials, footer talked with a ref who talked to the other one, guy between the sin bins, and then both coaches.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Duchene
But Myers has been scary on a Buffalo team that spreads the offence all around. Howard and Rask have amazing numbers for goalies (especially Rask). Duchene not winning has nothing to do with his play and everything to do with everyone else’s.

The two goalies don’t deserve it because the bar was set so high for rookie goaltenders to win the Calder by Mason last year. That’s why I think Myers is a shoe in.

Duchene still has a comfortable lead in rookie scoring
Tyler Myers also plays in front of the best goalie in hockey. Duchene has been the biggest addition to a team that’s gone from worst to playoffs.
It's Top Rookie, not Most Valuable Rookie
My point is that even if it’s Myers, or Howard, or Rask, or freaking John Tavares, it doesn’t matter. Duchene has been awesome, and has a bright future, and he beat Luongo and made me wish I had a drink around here to celebrate with.

It was a sampling. I'm not putting 80 players on it.
I’ve watched Duchene live. He was incredibly impressive. But this year has really strong defence and goaltending candidates.
I’m not slagging Duchene in any way.
