A Stats Machine Likes Pickard and Hishon.
Puck Prospectus using their statistical formulae rates Pickard as a possible goalie with a 'Martin Brodeur' like career and the best prospect in the draft (!). Also, Joe(y) Hishon is ranked 12th by their system.

I find the comment about last year’s arguments over which would go first – Tavares or Duchene (or Hedman, whom he left out) – being a smokescreen humorous, especially given there are current discussions still going on about how those rankings would be changed in retrospect. Yeah, no basis for those conversations last year at all. lol.

Pretty clever smokescreen to be carried out for an entire NHL season so far, eh? LOL.

I don’t think it was so much as “Which one will be a better player” but “which one will be chosen first”.
Last year it was obvious to all involved that the Isles were going to take Tavares. There was very little doubt, yet (as what happens every season) when it got close to draft time there were articles about how "duchene could be #1) and how Tavares was slipping on some people’s boards, even though there was very little chance Tavares was going anywhere but #1. That was the smokescreen they were talking about, I think, in that there was never any actual doubt on who was going where.
I don’t think they are actually comparing how Duchene and Tavares will be as players, but rather the debate about where they were going to be drafted leading up to the draft.

In their post-draft analysis, Puck Prospectus (not surprisingly) declared their undying love for our draft this year.

Hey Beachie, that new quote from Hishon is very Andy like “I guess we proved the critics wrong.” This team has a tremendous attitude
Help help! I'm being repressed!
As soon as I saw that quote from him, I knew it was a good pick! He fits right in.
