Now while i do understand why many people would love to sign a nice FA (some i wouldnt mind signing) at millions more than most of them or worth and while there are some who wouldnt mind the cap crushing power of Kovie restricting us for the next millenia, causing us much pain in signing our up and coming players who have not only scored more playoff points, but won more playoff games than said Kovie. There is one thing i do not understand.

And that everyone, is why so many people are alread writing the Avalanche off for next season, many are already underestimating this team, again, after so many of us did it last season. Is this not the core of the team that went from last in the West to 8th and at many points throughout the season closer in just 1 short season. But many are already complaining about free agent this free agent that. Personally i beleive in this team and its core. And would take most of its players and there contracts to come over the upcoming years than ruining it with poor and lucrative signings. Sorry i dont want Kovie and personally i dont mind if we dont sign anyone else new either. All i ask is you give this team a chance, the chance we did not give them at the begining of last season, and just see what they can do. I will bet they will suprise you in ways you couldnt beleive just as they did the year before.

Also i am not saying we might not need to add a few missing parts in the future im saying just give it time and let these boys grow.
