Don't Eat the Food in Denver's Sports Venues
Pepsi Center, Coors Field, and INVESCO Field's food vendors apparently are pretty unsanitary, according to Outside the Lines. All 3 had over 60% of their vendors in violation of various sanitation codes. There was even a report of some kind of fly in a bottle of cognac at the Pepsi Center.
In fairness, some venues had 100% of their vendors in violation, but this is a little unnerving.

60% of their vendors? What does that mean? If vendors mean each station that serves food and if it is counting just ONE or more violation from each station, 60% is not bad.
Actually. If that is the case and you are freaked out from this report, never go out to eat again. I mean ever. Restuarants run the same way. Besides, eating bad food every now and then is probably good for the immune system.

I'm not freaked out about it
The article made it sound like the food in Denver’s venues is like eating nuclear waste, though. The way I read it, though, was 60% of the people. It seems pretty ridiculous. I understand it’s volunteers and stuff, but for what they charge, they should be clean.

Guarantee you most people’s kitchen, and their cooking habits, would fail a health dept inspection. I don’t worry about this too much. Actual food poisoning is pretty rare, or causes minor effects- compared to the number of food establishments out there that are below “code” your chances are pretty good for staying ok.
