The Avs usually send their season ticket holders a little gift of some sort during the off season.  Mine came yesterday in an unusually large box.  Two gifts that go together.  The first one, a very large barbecue spatula shaped like a hockey stick with an Av logo engraved on part of the stainless steel portion.  Pretty cool, actually .... looks like it will be difficult to use but you certainly don't see one of those every day.  With it?  I saw a package with a large Av logo .... looked sort of like a jersey?  No, they wouldn't spring for a jersey, would they?  So I tore into it, unfolded it, and to my horror .... an apron.  So I can now look like a player wearing a unipron while barbecuing and using my hockey stick to flip burgers.  

Do they know, and even embrace, how god awful ugly those uniforms are?
