Terry Frei blog: Reunion and Steve Moore
Some interesting thoughts from Terry in this piece. I know most will disagree with him on Crawford. For what it's worth, he seems a little conflicted too. I plan on buying that book.

Interesting points. I know for me, that smirk killed it for me. If it wasn’t for that smirk, I would have been still on the “Love him for ’96” wagon. I jumped from that wagon that day, not because of the hockey. But because I can’t understand how someone could stand there, see that and smile.
If some are interested in Ontario, where the Moore/Bertuzzi suit is currently filled as soon something is looked at it becomes public domain. So I read it as part of my law class.
I do hope nothing is done on ice, to him, to take away from the celebration. I hope they have extra security. If I were there I wouldn’t do anything, silent treatment all the way… but I’m hoping that there aren’t too many inebriated people there…

That’s what I thought as well.

I find it more and more intriguing how much the MSM (the Denver Post in particular) uses MHH as fuel for their articles. I don’t know whether to feel impressed or saddened by it.

If Gary Bettmen had the right combo cojones and common sense Bertuzzi would never have played another second of pro hockey in North America. Period.
The Nucks organization, including Crawford is also responsible for what happened, and I wish Steve Moore all good fortune in his civil action against them. Steve Moore was a promising young forward on a team that needed an infusion of youth to keep moving forward, and he and we as fans were robbed of his career and future as a member of the Avs.
Always
The Avs are under the cap floor, and others laugh at them, but when the Tornado comes, they'll be the only safe ones.
