Happy 28th birthday to Avalanche goalie Jason Bacashihua. Interestingly, Peter Budaj and B-Cash have birthdays just two days apart and both goalies were taken in the 2001 draft (Bacashihua in the 1st round, Budaj in the 2nd).

i'm pulling for Cash over JG in Lake Erie
If JG gets a lot of playing time than the morale of the players will keep sinking just like his save percentage. Still can’t believe how many starts he got last year (even after all the goalies were healed).

I'm hoping they don't go for the idea of platooning them...
Best case would be that, after camp, JG retires so that Cann can get some time in at the AHL level. Not that spending more time at the ECHL/CHL level would be bad… as the Canadiens had Cedrick Desjardins do something similar (which did result in a championship) and ended up netting them Ramo.
Based on what I saw in camp, it would be hockey suicide to use JG as the starter.
