And so it begins. The Avalanche are in St Louis tonight as the NHL preseason schedule kicks off. Tonight's revolution will not be televised, but it is supposed to be broadcast on AM 950 in Denver. There is a link to listen to that station, but as I type this it's currently typing a bunch of oldies, so I don't know if that really will work.

No word yet on the Avs' lineup tonight, but the Blues' roster & expected line combos can be found here, with former Avalanche T.J. Hensick centering a line and wearing #77. Given the way former Avalanche players fair against us, it's a safe bet that Hensick will score a few tonight. [Update: Avalanche roster is now available]

I'd like to extend a hearty congratulations to Brett (aka Paul's Coffey) and his wife (uh, Mrs Coffey), who welcomed a future Avalanche forward to the world on Sunday. Yes, he was born on 9/19 and no, I have no idea how they managed to pull off that amazing feat. Everyone, I'm told, is doing well. Congratulations!
