Was at the Blades game tonight. Had my Pats jersey on but I cheered loudest when Siemens scored :) Blades lost 2-1.  Siemens had a tough first period but so did the whole Blades team. More analysis and cell phone photos after the jump...

Siemens is a solid dude. Not running around the ice loking for the biggest hits but he does take advantage of such opportunities when they arise. Pretty smart defensively, no glaring EJ-esque turnovers. Was on the ice for both Pats goals and ended up a -1. Chipped the puck out of the zone alot but did make some nice breakout passes. He even suprised me by taking a few rushes all the way up ice from bhind his net; stepping up when needed.

His goal was a screened shot from the point and probably hit a body or two on the way in, but it was definitely on net. It totally revitalised his team and his attitude shows why he is the Blades captain

His reputation must be well-known because most forwards didn't seem too eager to chip the puck into his corner. When they did engage them, he just shrugged them off as displayed by the next photo where the Pats player went to hit him but he just pushed him over.

I am pretty stoked for him to rule the ice in an Avs uni.
