I've seen posts like this from time to time on MHH, but as usual, I forgot everything.  My wife and I would like to travel to Denver from Chicago for an Avs game.  I just like the idea of watching them play in friendly territory for once instead of the evil, disgusting, and anti-American (I kid, I kid) United Center.  I mean, why the hell do they have to cheer during the Anthem? Anyway....

I have some questions regarding geography.  What are we talking about (distance and time wise) between the airport and Pepsi Center?  Can we get a taxi? I'm thinking it'd be a good idea to find a hotel near the Pepsi Center, is this a good idea?  I guess, my biggest concerns are:

1.) Do I need to rent a car (I'd rather not if it can be helped)
2.) Hotel recommendations?
3.) Where should I go to find the best deal on tickets? 

I'm thinking of going in February when they play the Blackhawks, because that'd get under the skin of all my friends...
