Mile High Hockey's Second Gathering of the Season

PrintIt's time to party IRL with your Mile High Hockey brethren. We are meeting at Brooklyn's before the game against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, December 17, 2011. Puck drop is at 7:00 pm. It's suggested that you call Brooklyn's for reservations and/or get there early to ensure you get a seat. Be sure to mention that you want to sit in the Burgundy Brigade section if you call.
The best part about the MHH Meet Up this time around is that we will be having some special guests. The Eurolanche folks will be in town on their 4th Eurolanche Invasion! They hit the states on December 14, 2011, and will travel to a number of cities to watch our boys. It would be great if you could all come out and say, "Hi!"
Another special guest is our very own Sandie Gauthier! She's crossing the border - legally, we believe - and making an appearance here in Denver to see a couple of games. If you're really nice to her, she might bring you some cupcakes.
The Burgundy Brigade will also be joining us, and they're offering a great deal for the game with their monthly ticket offer. If you haven't already joined the Brigade, make sure you visit their registration page and show the Avalanche we have an enthusiastic fan base once again. Oh, and the Brigade also offers kick ass deals on tickets and the opportunity to wear a seriously sweet Uller. Here are the details for the Caps' game:

Section 308
Unfortuntalye, I can’t make it to this game, but I’m planning a trip back for the holidays and making the Jets game on 12/27. Does anyone know which end of the seat numbers are closer to center ice in section 308? Is it seat #1 or the higher end numbers?

The lower the number in that section, the closer to center ice. Note that this balcony section is on the attack once / defend twice side.
Anything magic about 308? There may be better seats available.

2011-2012 Colorado Avalanche: Chances are rapidly diminishing that this will not suck.
I’m getting a group of 9 to go. I was planning on going with the $22 a seat deal through Colorado Avalanche Cares and they only hace so many tickets at that price. Plus, the group of 9 makes things difficult, but I just wanted to make sure we were getting the best tickets we could with in all those restraints. Currently either side of the section was open, but they wanted to put us on the other end. Glad I asked, thanks for the info.

Wont make the pregame festivities, but I’ll be in 358 tonight. That’s my regular 14-game pack seat, otherwise I’d be sitting with the Burgundy Brigade folks.

I actually prefer to sneak down the the odd-numbered 300s. 3-4 rows, nothing in front of you… it’s practically club level!

SO glad I went to the pre-game gathering, it really added to the experience! Lots of fun meeting everyone, and my friend Matthew said he may join-up with MHH after coming along.
Was hoping to get a pic of everyone I met after the game, but hey, there’s always next time, and I’ll definitely go to the next gathering! :-D

It was great to meet you! Sorry about the intermission thing. Like Sandie said, the usher randomly picked us to move to the lower bowl and we were running between entrances during commercial breaks and face off delays and JUST got to our seats when intermission started.
