I'm working on a couple of stories this week, but as you guys saw I spent yesterday turning 40 and didn't get a chance to get anything put together. So, today we've got a big old Monday open thread. Talk about the Avs, hockey, or pretty much anything work-safe that doesn't involve religion or politics.

Thanks for all the warm birthday wishes, by the way; very much appreciated. I spent the day at a hockey game (AHL) with my family and then steak for dinner. Can't get much better than that. Except for the getting old part of it.
