I heard a few of the natives were getting restless, thinking that we dropped the ball or ditched the idea of the MHH draft party. Alas, we are still on! I just confirmed with Fox and Hound in Littleton that our room is reserved. The pre-draft stuff on Vs. starts at 6 pm, and we'll keep the sound on through the 11th pick. At that time, they will change back over to music. (Because SDTF AJ and I are regulars, they were nice enough to bend the rules a bit to keep the sound on that late for a Saturday Friday night. Make sure you tell them thanks while you're there.)
Anyway, after the jump you'll find details about the bar so that you can make it there, eats at the place so that you can avoid puking in the parking lot, and hotels nearby so that you can stay safe if you can't drive home.
The party will take place at the Fox and Hound in Littleton. It's located at 8996 W Bowles Ave # K1, Littleton. The phone number is (720) 922-0400. Click here for a map.
They offer a full bar with a number of beers on tap. They also have a full menu with things like PRETZEL DUNKERS and buffalo wings appetizers, sandwiches and hamburgers, pizza, and full blown dinners. Check out their menu for full details.
There are numerous hotel options in the area. All are located near Hampden and Wadsworth, a short cab ride away.

Perhaps this lends credence to the supposition that I am, in fact, crazy, but I always thought it would be kinda cool to have MPD. Think about it. Haven’t you ever wished you could be someone else just for a day or something? If you had multiple personalities, you could!

but wow, that is way southeast, like 1.5 hours+…when not in rush hour. I’m not even sure I could make it for the Avs pick from when I get out of work at 6pm.

yeah, I’d probably get there around 7:30-8…that’s tough, that’s probably after the Avs pick, and then it’s another 1.5 hours back and i have a newborn + recovering from c-section wife at home to I shouldn’t be out too late… so that 3-3.5 hours in the car for maybe an hour at the bar.

Interesting, I’ll be finishing a job interview just minutes before 4 at a bank that’s about 1/2 a mile away. The goalies I’m still tight with are meeting up just up the street for our own draft party. Perhaps we’ll mosey on over.
The Vancouver Canucks school for Hockey Theatrics is currently accepting applications for the 11-12 season
I have to be somewhere at 6:30 and I’m afraid if I come hang out with all of you I’ll be too wasted/worn out to drive anywhere lol
