So I just read on B/R (yes I know, it is B/R, but it is sometimes reliable) that the Isles will not be re-signing Zenon Konopka.  I was thinking, the Avs still really don't have a true enforcer, why not go after Konopka?  Koci doesn't play enough, and McLeod is feisty, but I have my doubts.  Konopka is only 6 foot, 209 lbs, but racked up 307 PIMs last year, many from fights.  He has heart, is a great leader, and at 30 would be an instant veteran on this team, but what many may not know, is that he is a great faceoff man.  Last season, he won 57.67% of faceoffs while taking over 1000.  I just think the Avs should seriously consider signing him. What do ya'll think?
