That’s true, but he’s prettier with short hair. All the more reason for me to root for an Avs’ Cup then I guess.

Honestly, I’m just thinking it would be quite bad ass to see Lando with a full beard and longer hair come playoff season.
As for hair itself, hate mine when it’s short – prefer longer. But different strokes for different folks.

Damn. You know, I’m perfectly secure in my masculinity, so I don’t mind saying that is one steaky man who Denver media are going to love interviewing. He could get away with saying he was from Ames, Iowa, if he wanted to. I’m already thinking about getting his jersey and I haven’t even seen him play. I’m in mancrush territory over here.

So true. He’s probably one of my top 3 (defiantly top 5) players on the team and he’s not even staked at the Pepsi Center yet. SOOOOOO happy the Avs drafted him – the hockey fan in me likes him, and the girl in me likes him too.
By the way, Dario, thanks for the link. A little eye candy to go with lunch is always a nice experience :)

Another interesting note:
In the interview, Landy said Dutch texted him after the draft (which was a good move – having the face of the franchise welcoming in the top new prospects is what should happen), but EJ texted him just a few days ago asking him when he was coming down and would start training. So EJ is reaching out to at least one of our new players, looking to get him here and involved with the team.
Does that strike anyone else as something a Captain would do?

I am 100% convinced
that I want EJ as my captain. He was my favorite non-Avalanche player in the NHL, and well, when I found out that we got him, I was initially upset about what we lost, but with Siemens and EJ, I am happy…
