Bad news for Joey Hishon from the Avs rookie training camp. Adrian Dater has reported that Hishon isn't at the camp due to concussion symptoms. A few weeks ago we reported that he was still being bothered with concussion symptoms. Unfortunately, it appears that he hasn't healed enough. It's good that the Avs are taking concussions seriously, however, it must be quite upsetting to Hishon to not be able to participate this year. Hopefully he will get healthy soon and be able to play soon.

Greetings from Avalanche rookie camp, where drills are going on in front of me as I type.
The one notable absence is forward Joey Hishon, the Avs’ first-round pick from 2010. Unfortunately, Hishon is still bothered by concussion symptoms.

Dater is at camp today, and may have more updates later on. A.J. is representing MHH at the camp today, and taking some notes, he'll have more updates from camp.
