Up here in your close relative city (Fort Collins), I drive by a certain street nearly everyday. Thank god the city is doing construction across it and I am forced to take a detour. That certain street is named REDWING street. Yep, REDWING. Everytime I come across it I cringe in disgust, not only at the fact its the most misplaced damn street name in colorado, but also at the city of fort collins for allowing this wildly absurd and obscene word to be placed in the middle of town. It's annoying and
sometimes ALWAYS heart-wrenching. I am more than sure I have a mini heart attack every time I look at it. Feel free to finding it on google maps (although rumors are there are many Google-illeterate folks around here...)
Numerous times I have seriously considered writing a complaint to our lovely local government asking, no telling, them to rename the street or else they will be calling detroit for a new street-name plate every 10 hours (roughly). While we are this close to season and my hockey senses tingling, I cant stand looking at that piece of shit sign just camped in the middle of fort collins, degrading our beloved Avalanche 60 miles down the road (probably like 5 for most of you). Here's the dilemma, what do i do?
