Who gets the 4th spot then? It would only be a 3 team tournament. OHL winner WHL winner QMJHL winner…. ???…..
Have a Finals loser Tourny, or give it to the loser of the Finals who had the best record out of each of the three leagues. Or do whatever they do when the host team actually wins their league.

Its runner up for their league. Almost happened last year. Majors lost to Attack in the OHL finals and hosted the tournament. Also it kind of ruins it for the host city no? Memorial cup has just always been played this way.
The year Roy’s Remparts won it, the were the second team in the Q, but the host city.
Datsyuk may have done it first, but he learned it from Peter Forsberg.

Exactly. He isn’t paid like a Top 6, he doesn’t play like a Top 6. Nothing new there. In fact, in the past few months I’d say he’s been using his body more than ever. Certainly playing a grimier game than he did last year. Which is fantastic. So he’s improving and changing.

The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
Halo was the first shooter I played after a long hiatus from them (except for games like Splinter Cell) but really, once you go to Battlefield, Halo just sucks.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Only time I ever enjoyed Halo was when we were all in the same room.
That was the first Halo. And if it was a rocket match. BF3 is just so much more fun than a lot of other shooters.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
Oh for sure. Nothing better than shooting an indestructible humvee with a rocket… except shooting it from one end of the map to the other. A friend and I used to play team slayer for hours in a dorm though so the nostalgia factor remains high.
But once I went bad co, I tried to go back for a “less serious” experience and just ended up a mad bro
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Had my favorite kill in the game earlier
If you’re on Seine, and you camp across from D in either building, don’t stay on the second floor. I will slip into the room underneath you, make sure it’s clear, pop out long enough to hop up and through a couple c4 on your window sill, and then laugh with the power of all the world’s hyenas as your hidey-hole destroys you.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
I effing LOVE C4 on Rush….right one the MCOM’s and wait….also a huge fan of claymores. Have a tendency to knock out shotgun scrubs with them.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
My squad and I rarely play Rush. We’re all pretty equally disappointed in the rush maps in comparison to BC2. Conquest on the other hand is the opposite story.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
I haven’t played rush in a long long time. I do stick to Conquest (and arguably Metro) way too much. Conquest is just so fun. Metro/Bazaar/Seine are easily some of my favorite maps (I play support a lot). If I go to a more open map I have to play as something else, being in the prone position out in the open just means I’m sniper bait.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
Seine is great but laggy on Xbox, Bazaar is good as long as nobody’s getting spawnraped, Metro can be the most intense. But the support class is one I had to learn. I’m a natural engineer and thus love Kharg and Caspian.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Kharg and Caspian on PC just…they don’t do it for me. I first started off as assault so I racked up the deaths really fast when I just ran around trying to rez people. Only way I got into support was cus of the assault style rifles, ie: M27 IAR. I started playing around with a couple others with the bipod, and then got the MG36 and I was in love…almost have 400 kills on that thing already. It just mows down the opposition.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
I HATE the m27. Ugh ugh ugh… dat M249, M240B, and Pecheneg depending on situation. But usually M249.
G36C is my best weapon though.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
The M27 is soooooo good to me. 249 (SAW, I think that one is the SAW)….is so hard for me to shoot if I’m not on the ground with a bipod. Never played much with the others. Got the QBB95 and that was fun, but then that MG36 came along. The G36C is a ton of fun, but old faithful for me is an M4 variant.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
I’ve been playing assault sporadically because my next unlock is M1A4. I raped face with the M1A2 on bad co 2 so I’m hoping to find some chemistry there
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
You should. It’s accurate and just so easy to use. A lot of fun. Have all my m4’s hooked up with the acog and it’s like a match made in heaven.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
Eurgh, me and the ACOG aren’t friends. I’ll stick by my 3.4x thanks
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Acog is just a little bit more…I had the Russian variant on my MG36, totally snipin with it lol, was so easy.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
It’s a slower switch though. My reflexes are wondering where my scope is.
If I had the talent to go with those reflexes I’d be a colonel 20 by now >_>
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
I think PC would be better for you, console controllers are too slow.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
I suck too much ass at PC shooters… honestly though I probably will get it after I’m able to afford to upgrade my fkn 9800 GT.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
7000 series for AMD just came out, the 600/700 (whatever Nvidia is calling it) will be out soon so you can get some previous gen cards for cheap. Altho, will say that BF3 greatly benefits from a quad core.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
Do they have mutli-core GPUs now or are you talking CPUs? Because I’ve got the first i5 quad… built this thing what feels like a couple months ago but it’s been over 2 years now, dayum.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Talkin CPU’s.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
i5 750 should be ok until I’m ready to upgrade the mobo too I’d imagine. 2.66×4 and I’ve not even bothered to OC it yet.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Just joined the game in time for intermission so I guess I’ll catch up on the first period. I was watching the Caps play in Montreal. Neuvy got a shutout and played really well which has Goalie Guild to go a bit crazy in my opinion. He says the Avs should have traded for Neuvy instead of Varly because Neuvy knows how to play a big game without a goalie coach around.
I think there are a bunch of things he is ignoring. First, Neuvy’s stats suck this season, even worse than Varly’s. Also, Prior is back with the team now, and Neuvy was quoted saying it was hard on him without a goalie coach around. Also the fact I’m sure Varly has played a great game without McLean with him. But the biggest fact is Neuvy wasn’t on the trade block, that Varly wouldn’t re-sign with the Caps, so he was the only one they’d trade.
Pft, eastern conference bias even at the Goalie Guild

Really? I don’t think so, he seems to love all goalies wherever they are, but he especially loves Neuvy. Neuvy played great sure, but it’s only one game in a season where he has been as inconsistent as Varly, with even worse stats.
I kinda want the guy hired as a goalie coach...
or as a scout for the Avs.
Now if only the Avs would sign Aittokallio…
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
He has said that he’d like to be a video goalie coach for a NHL team. I think getting a job with an NHL is his dream right now. I’m sure he’d be able to help the Avs but I doubt they’d be interested.
His current role as excellent public educator about goaltending in general seems to be one he’s very well suited to
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Yes, he does a great job with that, and most of his stuff is free, and the membership is available for peanuts to get access to the rest of it. I paid for it because it was so cheap. And I like goalies:)
You like goalies? I couldn’t tell.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
I used to struggle with disliking Neuvy but I can mostly like him now that he isn’t competing with Varly and constantly being compared to Varly. The only goalies I hate are Halak and Roloson.
I think the only goalie I dislike is Marty B.

I actually was truly hoping I would get an answer here. My guesses were: yes, yes, and whichever penalty happened first would be cancelled.
Can there be pending minors to 2 separate players? My baseless guess has always been the play would be blown dead
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
The principle of delaying the penalty is the idea of continuing play due to advantage. I’m not certain how it would work, to be honest. Why would it be any different than a double-minor, which is merely assessing two minors to the same player?
Right. I mean it’s not like you can pull a second goalie and get a 7 on 5 advantage.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
The goalie being pulled is not a rule, but a practical strategy choice. If the play dies when the other team touches the puck, it’s a zero-risk strategy to pull the goalie. It follows the same rules as pulling the goalie at any other time in the game.
As far as I know
Correct me if I’m wrong, but there have been times when a team commits a penalty, and then with/during the delayed call, another infraction is committed. Both penalties are assessed when the play is whistled.
Datsyuk may have done it first, but he learned it from Peter Forsberg.

I can’t imagine why not. Unless the refs have a hard time remembering who did what. In which case, they probably shouldn’t be refs.
I have never seen two on the same team but I have seen one on each team and I believe during an Avs game.
Guy on other team took a hooking call (or some penalty like that). The puck squirted down the Avs defensive side of the ice, player on other team went after it and our defenseman interfered with him. It was stupid play, no need to touch the guy he couldn’t have gotten a break away. The call then turned in to matching minors.

The hand was less important than the “goalie wasn’t able to make an attempt to save the puck” due to interference. It shouldn’t have BEEN interference, mind, because he was tripped, but that’s a goal that cannot be allowed.
