I hope he comes to at least one of the games. Our boys have been to multiple games supporting his team, and now that he’s in offseason, it would be cool if he returned the favor.

Minor gripe. Two big wins by the locals last night. Nugs win in OT at Philly. Avs win, with the great Mueller feel good return driving it, in OT against the Panthers. Banner headline on the front sports page this morning for the Nugget win along with the story on said front page. Teaser burried at the bottom of the front page about the Av win, with the story on page 4. It just seems to me that Mueller’s first points in over a season and a half after coming back from concussions deserved more play than that. F’ing local media.

Interesting idea.
But you have to wonder how long the Avs are gonna go with Duchene at wing. He’s a center…and you have to think at some point there isn’t room on this team for Duchene, Stastny, AND O’Reilly.
O’Reilly is really too good for the third line, a line which TJ Galiardi is prime to center.
When does the hurting stop?

Played like he deserved the spot on that line vs. the Panthers. He will be tough to remove if he continues to create time and space for Stats and Mueller.
