normally agree but they are really bad defensively right now so think it will be pretty good actually. In last 8, they have given up 3 or more goals 7x and 2 goals in the other game. Must win for Avs.

That’s a pretty good price for a good single malt. I totally get the similarity to the doublewood in wood character, but I think the Dalmore is “darker”, with less of the light fruityness of the doublewood.

Speaking of Dalmore

I live in New York City and though the city sucks and I hate it to no end, it has a few “benefits”. One is arguable the best Scotch bar in America. They had a Dalmore tasting and offered a tasting of Dalmore 50. Yeah, I missed it because of work.

I was furious.

by the cool breeze on Jan 24, 2012 6:42 PM MST up reply actions

Weird circumstance. I didn’t know you got to try the 50 when i signed up. It was a last minute “gift” from the bar. Evidently with Scotch that old, once the bottle is opened it is best to drink it all right away. So, the sommelier’s and investors were there.

Well

Let’s hope we get Dutchy back over break soon after the break. It’s hard to win a game without 2 of your top 3 centers, especially when all 3 of the centers are real quality centers.

Idk I hate to say it but I can’t help but feel like if we don’t make the playoffs this year I consider the season a failure. Then again, finishing anywhere but the bottom of the league could warrant a successful season.

Go Avs!

We certainly have the ability to be a playoff team. We shouldn’t be any more than 2-3 points outside of 8th in the worst case scenario.
