Who Own Da Avs?
Already armed with an Arsenal of excuses to not spend money on the Avs, and apparently not caring about the Ramifications of neglecting them, even while giving us a Nugget of hope that he still cares about his KSE holdings here and there, Enos may soon have another reason to Dodge his responsibilities to our favorite hockey team.

Frick. Can he just sell the team to someone who cares already?
Forever grateful that Joe Sakic isn't a raging dick hole like Brett Favre.
No one would want the avs without a new lease at the pepsi center, they get raped there.

I’ve already told Enos, all of his Denver area KSE holdings or no dice. His people will call my people. Unfortunately, my people is Dan.

Really? The Dodgers? Fuck the Dodgers.
Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward. - Kv

Are you embarrassed at all that you’re almost 48 years old, yet the headline you, a former sports journalist chose to write, is “Who Own Da Avs”?
Mr. Kroenke is a very smart businessman. He is doing a very good job with the Nuggets.
Any reference to Slap Shot is always appropriate.
Enos and son seem to be keen on taking care of the Nuggets. Indeed.

Aren’t the Nugs pretty low in the NBA salary cap too? Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

I guess they are. But getting rid of Melo and Chauncey, and having K-Mart’s salary off of the books will do that for a team. But they are showing a commitment to the future with the long-term deals that Nene and AAA received before the season, and with the extension that Gallo just signed. I think they’ll be upper-middle of the pack next season in payroll.

I was going to ask how he thought he would get away with that given his NFL contract obligations (not owning sports clubs in competing NFL cities) when I remembered that LA has no NFL team.
I still believe that Enos has less than 2 years to sell the Nuggets and Avs to satisfy the NFL. The transfer to Josh was only transitional.
OK Shermie, time to be the shepherd
