Per Lebrun @ ESPN, our most recent Calder Trophy winner will by plying his trade in Sweden during this lockout season.

We've heard rumors over the last couple of weeks regarding the possibility of Gabriel Landeskog re-joining his former Swedish team, Djurgarden in the near future. Well, that future is now, as they say. Landeskog, his agent Peter Wallen, and the team have all announced that the 2012 Calder Trophy winner will be suiting up for the his old club in Stockholm. Landeskog last played for the club in the 2008-2009 season before making the transition to North America when he joined the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL. This makes Landeskog the third Avalanche player to sign outside the NHL due to the lockout.

According to Pierre Lebrun's blurb

Wallen says Landeskog has agreed to a two-month deal, with the agreement that he could go back to Colorado at any time if and when the NHL lockout ended.

That two-month duration matches the deal Matt Duchene signed with another Swedish club, Frolunda HC. Djurgarden is located in the second-tier HockeyAllsvenskan after being relegated last year while Frolunda is located in the top-level Elitserien, or Swedish Elite League (SEL).
