Red Wing Dave has stooped to an all time low.
Datsyuk may have done it first, but he learned it from Peter Forsberg.

Well this shouldn’t be a problem once I move to Cheyenne (at least not often as I’ll still have GCL), but I intend to be in person at a few games. Really hoping that opening night next season is when Foote’s number gets retired and taht it’s my first Av game ever.

Pens had the puck for about a minute in the Duck’s zone, quick counter, and 41 year old Selanne zooms, pretty much offside, but scores on a nice backhander behind Fleury. Great play. Great shot.

I’ve no idea what happened here.
What it said was that Haynes was doing a little deal on O’Brien, talking about his year so far. Clearly SOB knew it and cruised up in front of him to put his water bottle on the bench, then moved behind him to stretch and was chirping at him.

Yeah, that’s a good comparison. But I liked Yelle on the 3rd that first year. He had Keane on his wing and they have some pretty good chemistry together.

Oddly enough yeah. I’ve been getting sick of my bank (checking account has better interest rates than my savings) and have finally made the move to USAA. I’ve had USAA car insurance since I was 16. Any time I’ve been in an accident or gotten sales calls from other insurances, all I have to say is, “I’m with USAA” and they shut up. It’s awesome.

I have renters too.
My mom got into a bad accident about 20 years ago that caused her to have an aneurysm. The guy was high on drugs and three times legal limit on alcohol and of course had no insurance. USAA covered everything for my mom, gave her money for pain and suffering, and has given her a monthly stipend ever since with two $10k payments at each ten year mark.

Yeah. It can get pretty windy, else the highway is a pretty easy drive. Just watch the rush hour traffic between downtown Denver and about 120th on 25. Are you living on base? That’s not all that bad of a drive to Ft Collins.

I tried to use USAA car buying service when I bought my new car a couple years ago, but their closest dealership was in VA and I wanted one in MD closer to where I live. So I took the quote and tried to get car dealers in MD to match it. One dealer lied and said they would but later changed their mind, so I went to another dealer that sort of met it. I hated the entire experience, cars salesmen are so shady. So maybe their car buying service can still help you out if you can get a dealer to match a quote, although that is probably a lot harder buying a used car versus a new car.

It gives a break from the perpetual stress of school life. Although for some faculties this is unnecessary, for other faculties (pharmacy, engineering, law to name a few) it is an absolute essential.
Some people cannot handle the stress load of these faculties and having a week to collect their thoughts is huge.

The best is when the fans complained about how “oh the league’s not calling it anymore like they were…”
That’s because they got fucking fed up with the diving…. they literally said, I forget exactly where, but a memo was sent down that the Nashville/Vancouver series was an embarrassment to the league with all their diving.

Jokes, jokes
I would imagine that the actual flavour difference is overstated. I would imagine though that, like with beer, there is a real difference between “good” and “bad” wines
There’s def a difference between good and bad wines, but you can’t tell from the price. More expensive wines are priced that way because of production numbers more than anything else. A cheap wine just means a lot of wine was produced or overhead was very low.

I understand this, absolutely. The same holds true for beer. Similarly with beer, it is not necessarily true that beer in a can is bad while beer in bottles will be better.

No, it’d be weird if Edmonton was on top of it.
Vancouver being up top isn’t weird, it’s something we accept.

i find it weird based on the dominance we have.
for example, we were the only NW team to make the playoffs last year, and it’s well on pace to happen again this year.
Nucks Misconduct writer, ambassador and prima donna.
Note to self: there's always a dirty joke somewhere in there....
@NM_missy
Well the Nucks dominance isn’t really a shock. Edmonton has average goaltending, terrible defense, and a super young but talented forward corps. I’d say Edmonton in 2-3 years will be very close to being a contender. Now look at Minny. They’ve been garbage and not really contending for a while. I expect them to finish near the bottom of the division almost every year. Same with the Flames. Now the Avs, they’ve got some young talent that has been underperforming. I expect the Avs to be right there with Edmonton in 2-3 years giving Vancouver a run for their money.

This game makes you realize just how far off Ryan O’Reilly is from being a real 1st line center.
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
I never expected him to be a 1st line center…ever. I always thought he’d be a legit 2nd line center. As a first liner though…he’s been performing way better than I thought he would.
The reason I'm in town, in case you're wondering, is because of a Kansas City Shuffle.
No, it wasn’t, but that second goal was all him… Hodgson runs through Radar who tries to strip him and muscles his way out of the check, and passes it off.
Stastny is being check by Kesler, Radar, the Canucks third line… and yet Stastny created more chances than him.
Radar was relying way too much on that slapshot.
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
He’d be a legit 2nd line center if he develops some real skill or scoring prowess…. until then, he looks like a 3rd line guy with a lot of energy and heart.
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
He’s had linemates with low s% all season too in Landeskog, Winnik, even Hejduk, who’s below the league average at 9%. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that when Mueller hops on his line and starts scoring (41 shots, 5 goals, 12.2%) he puts a points streak together.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Mueller also lit it up with Stastny too… and then they went cold so things were switched up…
I’m coming to the realization this team is not going to make the playoffs….

simples
Quincey gets the puck and needs to clear, has no where to go so he tries to chip it off the boards, linesman does a hell of a job keeping it in the zone, Johnson stuck in 2 on 1 no-mans-land as the other 3 Avs were in flyby mode expecting the clear to make it.
