My profs don’t use powerpoint in class. One of them has his secretary send e-mails on his behalf. I don’t think I’m at risk of profs adding me to Facebook.
If I had facebook, I wouldn’t be adding my students. Then again my students are all minors.

No way that should be even. Yes, give Kobasew 2 for sticking up for his teammate. But you don’t reward a stupid cheap fuck for hitting someone in the head away from the god damn puck. What a fucking miserable joke that it.

I just don’t feel like checking the replay. Too angry at this game to watch it any more than once.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Looks like he got stick checked hard by Johnson, maybe pushed a little, but made zero attempt to avoid Giggy
I finally did check em because a wild fan elsewhere said “Brodziak taken out on a breakaway, no call”
Johnson lightly bumped him. Brodziak really did try to stop, hence the giant snow shower that lead him in, but was a bit off-balance from the bump because, well, he’s Brodziak, he’s not a fantastic skater. Couldn’t stop.
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?
Intent to stop is meaningless, skating into the goalie is a penalty, at least in the rule book, but not on the ice tonight.

It isn’t a penalty if you’ve been pushed in. He hit Jiggy as a direct consequence of Johnson knocking him down. It wouldn’t have been a goal if it went in, but it wasn’t a penalty.

Really? So just sit there and let your players get abused by the players? He’s a fucking awful coach
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
yes, because meeting expectations is horrible. It’s his fault Varly isn;t playing well, his fault he cant get calls, his fault his players can’t execute a 6 on 4 and his fault that that fluky goal went it. Totally fire sacco. Why doesn’t he have the magic to make the refs make calls, god if only other coaches had that, oh wait, they don’t. Yelling at the refs does nothing whatsoever.
Wise men wonder while strong men die.
Did we say ANYTHING about Varly, Other Players or Fluky goal no we said he needs to speak up to the Refs. Not once was any of that mentioned. And after as many non calls yes it is his fault you don’t sit there and let guys take shots at your guys head and sit there behind your bench and sulk like the kid who got his lunch money stolen. This isn’t only on Sacco the Guy with the C and the guys with the A’s should have been on this once they noticed Sacco was just gonna sulk behind the bench unless Sacco specifically told them to not do it (I don’t give a fuck after the second blatant headshot I would have been all over them despite if he said not to). As stated below I will call a game looser or tighter depending on reactions from teams when I Umpire/Ref and in my experience playing competitive sports the same is true. That said you do it with tact show your upset but don’t overdue it.

Exactly, as some one who has/does coach, you can argue calls and let the officials know how you feel with out going over the top. They may listen, they may not, but you won’t get any change if you don’t get in their ear a bit. At the same time if you do it every game, or you lose it too many times, you get a reputation and officials won’t talk to you.
You have to get a feel for the officiating crew and what they’ll take and how to approach them.
Datsyuk may have done it first, but he learned it from Peter Forsberg.

I cannot communicate how frustrating it is to watch this team continually dump the puck into the zone, even when we have the advantage by TWO MEN.
The worst part of this is that I’m pretty sure we beat the Wild in every category except the score because of a fluky goal.
But that’s all that anyone cares about. That’s all that matters. And we failed at it tonight.

Also, there is no way Jiggy lets that goal in. #BenchVarly.
Go Avs.
Go Blues.

I’m confused.
A man who stole my whisky used the defense that no one could resist a bottle of Scotch. I had no choice but to testify on his behalf.
Pretty sure Tony is referring to fluky goal the other day that went in on varly and everyone said Jiggy would have stopped it

The Eberle goal? That wasn’t flukey….and not every one said Giggy would have stopped it, there were people on both sides and many more not taking sides.
Datsyuk may have done it first, but he learned it from Peter Forsberg.
Thanks for everything Foppa!

Avs can’t win big games. I’m headed to the driving range fellas and ladies
At exactly what point do you start to realize that life without knowledge is death in disguise?

Yeah…. because he deserved to be in the lineup after blowing 2 goals last game?
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
I didn’t realize Sacco has a magic 8ball and he’d know this game would be ruined by piss poor officiating and the cheap shots by Minnesota
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
Its Cal Fuckin Clutterbuck’s team of course it would be full of cheap shots
All the Wild games this year have been physical and chippy
To defend Sacco he was kinda in a lose lose situation, bench SOB and shoot himself in foot for this an almost guaranteed Chippy and Physical game which is what SOB excels at. Don’t bench him and his message doesn’t get sent that mistakes aren’t to be tolerated. Personally I don’t think SOB is the type of player to respond to a benching and would have kept him in lineup and made him skate extra lines or something in practice to get my point across.

That’s the weakest damn 37 shots on goal I’ve ever seen.
We see a wonderful sun-soaked city nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Enos sees nickels and dimes.
They’re going to come out and be like “we got 37 shots… we did everything…” and all that bull shit sugar coating it all
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
Sacco and Giggy both said in post game “We play like that and we will win most games”
Hmmmm I swear I have heard that in like 4 or 5 post games now. Obviously not if your saying it ALLLLLLL the time.

2-12 against the division, 2 guys behind us have games in hand…. Anaheim coming up red hot…. we’re fucking bending the fuck over at the worst wfucking time
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
Is it? Vancouvers a guaranteed loss… I’d be shocked if we don’t get shut out or blown out.
Paul Stastny did, what Paul Stastny does. Score big goals.
Avs haven’t scored against them yet…..goals are 0-9 in two games.
Datsyuk may have done it first, but he learned it from Peter Forsberg.

Good news
Mike doesn’t have to do a goal for review. The Caps are going to have a pretty damn good first rounder this year. The Can will be more roomie as the season winds down.
We see a wonderful sun-soaked city nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Enos sees nickels and dimes.
The worst thing about this is that everyone is going to look at this and go “HAHAHAHA Avs, I TOLD YOU! You suck!”
One goal games. Geez. Why can’t we find a way to win?

I think at this point the only logical thing you can do is to trade O’Reilly and Landy. Glue is supposed to keep a team together but we’re not winning meaning we have to scrap the glue. Also, Yip’s nacho-locker room presence is sorely missed. Don’t believe me? Look at our record since he left. But the most important thing one can take from the losing streak is that if you add an ‘i’ and ‘d’ to “Avalanche” you can spell it backwards as Echidna Lava.
Meow-valanche. Prrr-valanche.
I have to disagree. We have plenty of cap space so keep the glue and get some players. But I will agree losing Yip for nothing was a mistake.
