I've done a few of these just to see where everybody stands. Leave reasons below if you're feeling insightful.
Other points of interest:
-The Avalanche play every other day until March 30th. The other bubble teams will catch up on games played March 31-April 4th. They then finish up the regular season against Columbus and Nashville. This is going to come down to the wire, and those 5 days should be an interesting way to watch how the playoff picture plays out.
- Matt Duchene has really had one great game this season in November against Dallas. It was 1 of 2 multi-point games he's had this season. The other being against Ottawa in October. I think a shift on his wing may help, but Sgarbossa and Hishon may have a chance come training camp, but Olver and Connelly are also in the mix. I would like to see someone with a little size thrown into the role, but I'm not Greg Sherman. Sherman has done well so far, but this may be his pet project next season. A shifty skater or a big power forward to compliment Duchene and Mueller?
- Landeskog has 21 goals and leads the team. Wicked, right? Ryan O'Reilly has been a little more quiet as far as scoring goes, but he's still playing good hockey. Downie has faded as of late, as was to be expected. Maybe time to put Olver back on that line? That's still a lot of gung ho.
