Ladies and gentlemen of MHH, I have some good news. You can safely put the positive vibe generators away for the evening. Tonight, the only game of any direct impact on the Avalanche is Vancouver at Chicago, kicking off at 8 eastern. For those not named after a silly 80's fad who might be thinking of rooting for the Canucks, please take a step back from the ledge and consider the following: if the Blackhawks play just .500 hockey the rest of the way, the Avs would need to finish a perfect 7-0 to pass them. Better to save the vibes (and icky feelings) for more winnable causes. Those vibes WILL be needed tomorrow...but that's another show.
