So, what have we learned from the 2011-2012 season
1. Mid to late March is not the best time to have a swoon
2. Joe Pavelski is a former Av who has changed his name (no other explanation is possible)
3. Games lost in November really do haunt you in April, as do games lost in October, December...
4. It would be better if the Avs were sitting comfortably in the top 4 or 5 seeds this time next year
5. These ROW things are pretty important
6. Loser points suck, but it would be rather nice if the Avs had more of them
Projected rankings as of last night
3. San Jose (96)
4. Nashville (104)
5. Detroit (102)
6. Chicago (101)
7. Dallas (94)
8. Los Angeles (93, 31 ROW, 8-7 h2h with PHX)
9. Phoenix (93, 31 ROW, 7-8 h2h with LAK)
10. Calgary (92)
11. Colorado (91)
