Ever since Saint Patrick's retirement, goaltending has been one piece the puzzle that the Avalanche just have not seem to get right so far (Varly looked good, but we'll see how he performs next year). However, I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that there is a chance that 3 out of the 4 conference semi finals games could potentially have a former Avalanche goalie starting between the pipes.
