Here's what I think about the Avalanche's chances of getting Patrick Marleau: I think the Avs would be interested in seeing what the Sharks would want for him. I think they'd like to add a little bit of veteran depth up front, especially if David Jones leaves via free agency. I also don't think the Avs would give up a whole lot for him, given his age.

The question is, what are your thoughts? I see it this way, he is 32, $6.9 million cap hit for the next two years who has scored 71. 81. 73 pts in his last three seasons. He has playoff experience, and is a veteran let alone a player who can play center or lw. If he came at the right price, I wouldn't be able to say no. My trouble is finding out what the right price is.
