The Avalanche have used their 6th rounder, #162, on Joseph Blandisi of OHL Owen Sound.
He's 5'11 185, and is one of the younger draft-eligible guys, with a July 1994 birthday. Last year for the Attack, he put up 17G 14A, plus an assist in 5 postseason games. Joseph went undrafted his first eligible year for the OHL, but was a high 3rd rounder the next year. Joseph looks to be a good skater who can finish (sound like a need?) but not the best in the defensive zone (TPB).
Yet another forward/center, not real big but not exactly a shrimp either and still with time to grow.
