Adrian Dater at The Denver Post is reporting that Ryan Wilson has signed a 3 year deal with the Avs. The contract will pay $2 million, $2.375 million and $2.375 million bringing Ryan Wilson to unrestricted free agency in 2015.

In addition the Colorado Avalanche have extended qualifying offers to all but two of their restricted free agents: Kevin Porter and Peter Mueller. Its still possible they will sign with the Avs, but in all likelihood these last pieces from the Wojtek Wolski deal will be hitting the open market as UFA's come July 1st.

While Porter's departure is expected, I'm personally surprised to see the team let Peter Mueller walk. When he's been healthy, he's played well for the Avs and showed good chemistry with Matt Duchene, unfortunately a glut of injuries have kept him out of the lineup for a majority of his two years in Colorado. Peter Mueller would have been an affordable but risky option on the right wing, and not qualifying him could mean that the Avs are ready to go a more expensive route on the right side, only time will tell.
