Have just moved to the Boulder/Denver area from Dallas, TX. While the Stars will always be dear to my heart, I can't manage without live hockey, so am happy to be joining the Avalanche family (excluding the games when the Stars visit of course).

Writing to ask if anyone here knows of any groups who get together to go to games, watch games (home/away), or anything like that. I don't really know too many people here yet, and after repeated attempts I have given up on trying to convince my wife of the joys of live hockey, so she didn't appreciate even the great season ticket bargains they have now.

Looking forward to joining in the community here no matter what, and worst case I will be heading down to the Pepsi Center on my own for a few games this year.
