The Avs have managed to score 1 goal in their last 3 games. First their was a 4-0 loss to San Jose, then a 4-1 loss to Edmonton, and then another 3-0 loss to Vancouver.
In all three games the Avs mostly play defense all game and then hope some how Varlamov holds up while theAvs spend most of the game in their own zone.
In the San Jose route for example the Marleau had 2 goals in the Sharks route. The problem is the shots on goal which was 43 for San Jose, and 24 for Colorado.
Obviously, the Avs don't play very well whenever Landeskog is out of the line up and the O'Reilly situation continues on.
Avs General Manager Greg Sherman ought to be fired if he can't put more offensive firepower on the ice by signing O'Reilly and putting a better team on the ice.
I'm starting to believe that Sherman rather than Sacco is the real problem.
